"God didn't have time to make a nobody, only a somebody. I believe that each of us has God-given talents within us waiting to be brought to fruition" – Mary Kay Ash
I came to Montana in 1989 to attend graduate school. Before that I lived in Ohio with my parents, a Black Lab and a cat. When I left the Midwest my mother said I'd never be back, who'd have thought she'd be right. I can't think of a place I'd rather be than here.
Since moving here the clan has expanded to include my husband Chris and his son Sam. They keep themselves busy during the summer months practicing and racing their motorcycles. In the winter they exchange their wheels for snow boards and skis. When he's not playing outside Chris works as an auto mechanic and Sam tries to concentrate on school.

We moved into our home (my first house) on the western edge of Missoula during the winter of 1993. While it's not my dream home on a million acres all to myself, it's a nice place with a half acre for the dogs to play, a good view and easy access to lots of outdoor fun.

At the same time we moved into our first home we also adopted the first furry member of the Clan; a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever cross named Cinder. She introduced me to the world of competitive dog sports and the joys of dog ownership. In 1994 I discovered the sport of schutzhund and the German Shepherd Dog . And in 2000 I discovered how grand life can be when it's shared with the happy little hound with the big name; the Petit Basset Griffon Vandeen.

One of the newest adventures in my life is becoming a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. Mary Kay has opened up an opportunity to grow and blossom in new directions I never thought possible.
